Ceridwen Update: Ain’t She Cute?

Submitted by Lesley on Sunday, 22 February 2009One Comment

I’m now forced to wait a minimum of another week before I can bring little Ceridwen (it’s pronounced with a soft c) home. I was dying to see her again so we headed off to the shelter for another peek and actually she seems so much better, albeit sleepy. I had a quick chat with the staff who explained she was being spayed on Tuesday (which i already knew) but that her ear infection had cleared. They seemed a little worried that her head-tilt would somehow make me less likely to take her … not a chance. I enquired about taking her home, which of course hinges on the vet. It’s 50/50 whether I will be able to take her this Saturday or have to wait yet another week.

Most of the kittehs were locked in their little hutches – obviously siesta time – and I found Amelia and Ceri (she’s on the right) clustered together in a basket. Awww, bless! I was eventually able to coax her out and she had a snuffle then let me pick her up. Mum was awwing as much as I was. She’s this amazing little lithe creature. Her head-tilt is almost gone and she seemed quieter – but if you’d be woken up by a pesky hooman you could be too. I am just dying to bring her home ….

She is adorable! I know that you are looking forward to taking her home and playing games at home.
