The Chronicles of Ceridwen: The outside world beckons …
Mama Lesley has been nervously preparing for the day when she would have to let me go outside. She thought I would go find Mama Isis and disappear without a trace, so she started taking me out on the lead. But leads are constrictive and annoying, there are fun things for me to sniff and they are always out of reach! It makes me so frustrated that I have to miaow at Mama Lesley’s door so early in the morning!
The hooman was originally going to let me out on the weekend when Auntie Ann was around to keep her sane. She worries to much! But this morning was so sunny and warm that Mama Lesley relented and opened the door. It was so bright outside and I shot out, there are flowers by the door, lots of lovely smells including other kittehs. I found sanctuary under some nice plants where I could watch the world without being noticed and then started wandering. The hooman sat outside with me for a bit, seeking reassurance from other hoomans on the telephone, then went in but left the door open.
I had a wander and then came home for some nom and a visit to the kitteh litteh tray. The hooman had shown me around and I made a beeline for the grassy place across the road. Then I returned to the overgrowth and met Giant White Worsel from Next Door who had been cautiously watching me all morning. He saw the door was open and went inside to play with my toys … the hooman was not particularly impressed but I think she likes him regardless. I came in for lunch and a rest as all this wandering exhausted me then the hooman let me out again to play with all the little hooman kitlings. They had a ball and let me play with them! It was huge and bouncy! Then I got to play with Auntie Amanda from next door and stalk the burdie-on-a-stick.
Mama Lesley says I can go out tomorrow too! YAY! I just hope that big doggeh isn’t there.
Zzzz-time now …. schleepy …. Zzzzzzzzzz.
Oh and Mama Lesley took pictures!

What a big, grown-up kitty you are now!! Glad you’re enjoying the outdoors and still going back home after your adventures. Be safe, little one.
