Doctor Who: The official Christmas ident

Submitted by Lesley on Friday, 4 December 2009No Comment

Yes, Christmas is apparently here and I’m looking forward to one thing: Doctor Who. Part one of The End of Time airs on Christmas Day, with part two to follow on New Year’s Day. It’s going to be very different from previous Christmas specials and, I think, a lot darker in tone, more like The Waters of Mars. Doctor Who has always been one of the BBC’s flagship shows, I suspect it will be gracing the cover of the Radio Times‘ Christmas issue once again but this year we have a first. The Doctor starring in one of the BBC’s infamous Christmas idents! It’s a fantastic piece of Christmas and shows the Doctor as I like to think of him. I can’t wait to see this over the festive period and it’s a fitting end to David Tennant’s tenure as the planet’s favourite Time Lord.
